Tina Bird
Tina Bird brings rigorous scientific discipline, a wealth of network administration and Internet security expertise, and substantial teaching experience to her role as a Computer Security Officer for Stanford University. With Marcus Ranum, she runs http://www.loganalysis.org, a portal for building enterprising logging infrastructures and interpreting log data. tbird also moderates the security community's Log Analysis and VPN mailing lists. tbird graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in physics, and has a master's degree and Ph.D in astrophysics from the University of Minnesota.

Jason Chan
Jason has been a security consultant for over six years. In this role, he works with many of the world's largest enterprises to help ensure the security of their digital assets. Prior to consulting, he worked in the Information Warfare Engineering group with the US Navy Space and Naval Warfare Center. He has published articles for SysAdmin Magazine and other publications and graduated from the College of Charleston.

Scott Korman
Scott is a Microsoft MVP for Windows Server - Software Distribution (WSUS). He runs http://www.wsus.info (formerly http://www.susserver.com), a community website and support forums for WSUS & SUS administrators. He works as a Microsoft technology specialist for the Department of Education in New South Wales, Australia, working in the areas of implementation, management and environment standardization.

Ryan Russell
Ryan Russell (aka Blue Boar) has worked in the IT field for over 13 years, focusing on information security for the last seven. He was the lead author of Hack Proofing Your Network, Second Edition, contributing author and technical editor of Stealing The Network: How to Own The Box, and is a frequent technical editor for the Hack Proofing series of books from Syngress. Ryan was also a technical advisor on Snort 2.0 Intrusion Detection. Ryan founded the vuln-dev mailing list, and moderated it for three years under the alias "Blue Boar." He is a frequent lecturer at security conferences, and can often be found participating in security mailing lists and website discussions. Ryan is the QA Manager at BigFix, Inc.

Eric Schultze
Eric is the Chief Security Architect for Shavlik Technologies where he manages Shavlik’s product vision and implementation. Schultze most recently served as a program manager for the Microsoft Security Response Center and a senior technologist in the Trustworthy Computing team at Microsoft Corporation. In those roles he managed the Microsoft security patch and bulletin release process and developed security solutions for Microsoft products including patch management and deployment solutions. Eric was a contributing author and technical editor for the first edition of Hacking Exposed: Network Security Secrets and Solutions and has been technical editor for numerous network securitybooks. Eric has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Amherst College.
